MY NAME IS Jim, but some call me “the water whisperer”
Born in the mountains of Vermont, I grew up drinking water from my families natural spring, played in the creek behind my house and helped my father harvest sap from the maple trees in the woods.
Being grounded and connected to the earth is a feeling that comes naturally to me. The son of a PhD chemist (father) and an ardent environmentalist (mother), and with a grandfather who was both a PhD chemist and a conservationist, it is only natural that I found himself where I am today: creating the purest, most natural oxygen-laden water on the planet.
For those who would to like hear more about my technical background, here ya go………
Jim recently retired from directing the maintenance and operation of the swimming pools for the Los Angeles Unified School district, the 2nd largest district in the country, where for 13 years he managed over 6 million gallons of water ranging from therapy pools for disabled students to Olympic-size competition pools. Under his direction, the school district added 12 new competition pools bringing the total bodies of water to 35. In his quest for excellence, he helped push other industry leaders to embrace the move to the more reliable hydronic indirect heating systems for large commercial pool applications. With close to 30 years in the swimming pool and hot tub industry, Jim has constructed pools, served as a repair technician, managed his own service business, and just about any other thing you can imagine when it comes to pool/hot tub maintenance and construction. He holds numerous industry instructor certifications including the well known Certified Pool Operator instructor (CPO) and the Aquatic Facility Operator instructor (AFO) which enable the bearer to instruct pool operators to manage large public pool facilities.
Jim has served on the local boards of IPSSA (Independent Pool & Spa Service Association), NSPI (National Pool & Spa Institute) and holds multiple manufacturer certifications. Jim has also been a respected resource for structural issues with water holding vessels for a number of years in San Diego county.
